It is very important for children of all ages to use their imagination while playing alone or with other children. Think back on your own childhood. We played with dolls that didn’t walk and talk and cars that didn’t have sirens or horns. We used our imagination to play with all of our toys. In today’s technology drive world, it can sometimes be challenging to find toys for our children that don’t require batteries!

Get your children’s creative juices flowing and encourage imaginative play. It is a crucial time to develop these skills. Having toys that encourage hands-on play can be helpful. Is your child going to be the next Van Gogh? Your little artist needs a canvas.

The Clamp On Paper Center can turn any table into an art center! Going to Grandma’s for the weekend? No problem! This can easily be removed from your table and attached to a table at Grandma’s so the masterpieces can continue to be made!

Clamp on Paper Center - A great solution for your little artist!

Maybe your child is going to become a famous architect and build the next Eiffel Tower? Magneatos are a terrific hands-on toy, which will allow your child to build anything from simple shapes to space rockets! Some Magneatos even glow in the dark to add even more excitement to the structure they just built.

We received a question from a customer last week who asked how they could hook up a children’s keyboard and still use the standard keyboard. The solution is easier than you might think, you can do this with most computers if they have a free USB port. Most computers will detect the new children’s keyboard and the exisiting keyboard can stay in place if needed. This is an ideal solution to creating a kid friendly computing experience & also keeping in place the existing keyboard.

Children’s keyboards have become common place in many classrooms and learning centers across the country. They prevent the development of bad computing habits and provide many benefits to children that are starting to use a computer and learning to type. The best part, now these benefits are available for your home, day care, learning center, classroom or library by adding a kids keyboard.

If you have a question or you think we can help you, please contact our customer care team and we will be happy to assist you and find solutions that meet your specific needs.

If you have been considering a desk for your child, you may want to check out this fun, stylish and affordable Children’s Desk.

The Children’s Desk from Pkolino was created for kids with big dreams. It’s the perfect learning space for games, books, project learning and it also makes an excellent art desk. Available in two different colors I prefer the orange for the “cool” factor but it’s also available in a sleek white, a nice and clean look. This all-in-one design with ergonomically positioned built-in seat, means children do not need to worry about positioning their chair. The seat is an optimal 12 inches high with a smart storage shelf under the seat for quick access.

This smart play-space is a great addition to any home, daycare, library or classroom. For those needing additional storage you can add a Play Kit that fits right under the desktop on rails to create a handy drawer. You can never have enough storage and this smart design is convenient and makes for quick cleanup. That is always a good thing for parents and teachers. You can store learning materials, games, and supplies.

The versatility this desk offers will allow you to utilize it in virtually any environment. Moving this desk around is easy and quick and this makes it simple to re-arrange when necessary.

If you have little one you may just consider this durable, fun and stylish Children’s desk.

Have you ever wished your child or student enjoyed doing their homework, research and projects? Does homework get put off or delayed because there is just not a fun or ideal environment for them? You can create this environment with a children’s computer desk or a children’s table with chair. Creating a space designed and designated for homework has shown to improve overall grades and performance with some students.

We received an email from a customer who purchased a desk for her grade school age daughter. Before getting the desk she used to sit in the dining room which is adjacent to the living room and television. Over time she realized that her daughter was getting distracted by the TV or conversations amongst the family. She found the quality of her daughters homework suffered as a result.

She set out to create a work space for her daughter. She purchased a children’s table set and then set up a used PC with software that gave her full parental controls. She outfitted it with the Kids Complete Starter Set which included a children’s keyboard and children’s computer mouse. Her daughter was extremely excited and started looking forward to doing her homework again. Throughout the rest of the year, her teachers took notice and her grades on homework greatly improved. It is stories like these that make us realize how important it is to have a special place for your child to be able to focus and be free from distractions.
